Celebrating a Stellar Sports Season

Throughout the year, our students showcased hard work, determination, and commitment, achieving remarkable successes across various sports.

Here’s where your favourite teams finished in their leagues:

• Men’s Football 1: 3rd
• Men’s Football 2: 2nd
• Men’s Football 3: 1st
• Men’s Football 4: 1st
• Women’s Football: 2nd
• Men’s Rugby: 1st
• Men’s Basketball: 3rd
• Netball 1: 3rd
• Netball 2: 4th

The Men’s Football teams had a fantastic season, with the third and fourth teams both securing first place in their leagues, a testament to their relentless effort and skill. The first team claimed a strong third-place finish, while the second team narrowly missed the top spot, finishing in second place. Our Women’s Football team also performed admirably, finishing in a commendable second place.

Men’s Rugby dominated their league, clinching the top position and showcasing their strength and teamwork. The Men’s Basketball team had a competitive season, securing third place in a tough league.

Our Netball teams also had a noteworthy season. Netball 1 finished third, while Netball 2 put in a solid performance, finishing fourth.

These achievements reflect not just individual talents but the strong sense of teamwork, camaraderie, and sportsmanship that defines Esher Sixth Form College. Dani Knight, Head of PE and Sport said, “the friendships forged on and off the field, the memorable moments of victory and perseverance, and the collective spirit of the teams have made this season truly unforgettable.”
