Degree Apprenticeships Fair Opens Doors to Paid Learning Opportunities

Esher Sixth Form College, in collaboration with Godalming College, welcomed students and their parents/carers to a free Degree Apprenticeships Fair. The event provided a unique opportunity for young people to explore alternative routes to the traditional university path, with over 35 employers present to discuss the benefits of degree apprenticeships.

The event was well attended by our students eager to explore their future options, with a strong turnout from other local schools and colleges. Exhibitors and guest speakers shared valuable insights into the practical benefits of degree apprenticeships and the range of opportunities available across multiple sectors.

The fair offered attendees the chance to speak directly with employers, many of whom provide options that cover qualification fees and offer a salary, making these programmes an attractive alternative to traditional higher education. Representatives from diverse industries were on hand to showcase career pathways, explain the application process, and highlight the earning potential of these programmes.
