LEARNING MENTOR
Full-time or Part-Time
Term Time Only (36 hours x 39 weeks per year) – Permanent
We are looking to appoint a Learning Mentor, helping to meet the needs of our growing numbers of students. As part of the Learning Support team, you will be expected to contribute to the support of students both inside and outside the classroom. The confidence and ability to support students with a wide range of needs will be required and some knowledge and experience of supporting students with learning difficulties, mental health difficulties and disabilities would be an advantage.
The posts are term time only to commence as soon as possible. Actual salary will be £21,525 per annum, inclusive of fringe area allowance. Learning Mentors also act as personal tutors for one or two tutor groups, which is paid at a higher hourly rate.
