Outstanding Success in Senior Mathematical Challenge!
Congratulations to our first and second-year mathematicians who took part in the Senior Mathematical Challenge earlier this term.
The College is incredibly proud of our 153 Mathematicians who took on the challenge of this demanding competition run by UK Maths Trust.
We are excited to announce that together, they achieved 13 Gold, 37 Silver, and 103 Bronze awards!
In addition, 10 exceptional students have qualified to compete in the prestigious Andrew Jobbings Senior Kangaroo in November.
A special mention goes to Harriet (6.1), Dan (6.2) and Luca (6.2) pictured below, who qualified to the next level for the British Mathematical Olympiad. Harriet and Dan also earnt the ‘Best in School’ awards with the joint highest scores. We wish all our Kangaroo and Olympiad contestants the best of luck in their upcoming challenges!
